■That we recognize the matter is the same as that matter is present. Strictly
speaking, “What we recognise as voluntary and conscious selection of possibilities(=matter)
is overcome of old possibilities(=old matter) and it open up the new possibilities(=new
matter). The theory of physics to prove this fact is Einstein’s Special
Relativity.
■According to Classical physics (Newtonian mechanics), All matter (including
the light) exist independently of the recognition of the person. This is
consistent with the common sense. And if so, “Speed of light is 300,000
kilometers per second from the perspective of the person who is stationary.
But speed of light is 290,000 kilometers per second from the perspective
of the person who is on board the rocket is flying at a speed of 10,000
kilometers per second in the same direction as the light. Similarly, speed
of light is 310,000 kilometers per second from the perspective of the person
who is on board the rocket is flying at a speed of 10,000 kilometers per
second in the opposite direction to the light.
■Humans are flying through Space on a rocket called the Earth. Suppose
light is emitted from a point on the Eearth and travels in all directions
through Space at a speed of 300,000 kilometers per second. In this case,
the light hits two mirrors that are equidistantly placed in 90-degree angle
different directions from the emission point, is reflected, and returns
to the emission point at different times. Conversely, if we measure the
difference, we should be able to calculate at what speed and in what direction
the Earth is moving relative to Space. So Michelson and Morley developed
a device that could measure that slight difference, and measured that difference.
Surprisingly, however, no matter how many times they experimented, the
light returned exactly at the same time.
■Einstein interpreted this experimental result as follows: “The speed of
light traveling is always constant(300,000 kilometers per second) for all
observers, regardless of which observer in relative motion sees the light
propagating in any direction with respect to the direction of their movement.”
This is the Principle of Constancy of the Speed of Light.
■From the previous explanation, if the matter called light existed independently
of the perception of the perceiver, this would never be possible. Therefore,
this fact shows that “a person moving in any direction and at any speed
perceives light to always travel at a speed of 300,000 kilometers per second.”
In other words, the matter called light does not exist independently of
each person's perception. In this respect, first of all, “the recognition
of matter” and “the existence of matter” are the same.
■Now, Einstein mathematically rewrote the laws of Newton's mechanics to
conform to ”the Principle of Constancy of the Speed of Light.” As a result,
the following laws, which no one had ever imagined before, were derived
one after another: “The length of an object that is moving relative to
the perceiver (observer) becomes shorter compared to the length when it
is at rest”, “The progress of time (elapsed speed) of an object that is
moving relative to the recognizer becomes slower compared to when it is
stationary”, “The mass of an object in motion relative to the perceiver
becomes heavier compared to when it is at rest” etc,.
■In other words, the length, weight, and progress of time of an object
differ depending on the state of relative motion of the perceiver with
respect to the object. Therefore, when multiple perceiver in motion recognize
the same object or event, the length, weight, and elapsed time will be
different for each perceiver.
■And the multiple different lengths, weights, and elapsed times that are
actually recognized all exist in exactly the same qualification. Other
than these, there is no single objective length, weight, or elapsed time
that is independent of the perceiver.
■In this respect as well, “the recognition of matter” and “the existence
of matter” are the same thing.
