■ What happens when we die? We know that the body perishes. However, does
a person become "Nothing" when he or she dies, or does the "Soul"
continue to live?
■Since we have never experienced "Death", about the life after
death,
we can only guess. Many people are tormented by the fear of "Death"
on the verge of death.
■The best way to learn about death is to hear from someone who has actually
died. You may think, "Hearing stories from dead people!?"
■However, there are books in which dead people tell of life after death.
The book is called " My Life After Death: A Memoir from Heaven "
by Eric Medhus. Eric is a young man who committed suicide at the young
age of 20, but the book was not written before he died. After his death,
Eric spoke about the afterlife through spirit interpreter Jamie Butler.
This book is the record of what Eric told her.

Heaven , Atria Books/ Beyond Words,2015.
■How did Eric talk about the afterlife (=heaven)?
[transit]
■Eric was able to look down on himself from a height just after he shot
himself in the head. It's called out of body. He calmly watched all that
followed. His consciousness continued after his death.
■Two deceased relatives assisted Eric in his transition to the afterlife
(Heaven). In transitioning to that world, each person seems to be supported
by people who match each person.
■Eric then went through a life review. He intensely relived everything
he had experienced from birth to his death, including how the other person
felt. In that world, there is no judgment for the actions taken during
life. All deeds in life are permitted.
[Recognition in Afterlife (Heaven)]
■In that world, Eric does not have a body, he exists as a spirit (energy
body).
■He can see, hear, smell, taste and touch. But he does not feel with specific
sense organs like humans do. He feels with his whole being. Also, in terms
of vision, he can look around 360 degrees.
■In that world, everything you see and hear is intense, and you can perceive
details more vividly than in life. Also, your senses will be sharper.
■In that world, time does not flow in a straight line. All times exist
as if they were folded in parallel.
■In that world, we perceive only that moment, that moment, that which we
focus on. In that world, you can instantly move to a certain place just
by imagining it. In that world, you can also create what you need at the
moment.
■In that world, we have a lasting feeling of happiness and joy that never
goes away.Eric was surrounded by unconditional love in that world, and
he confirmed that he was a worthy existence.
[Scenery of Afterlife (Heaven)]
■In that world, everything seems to be painted in bright vibrant colors.
That world was so colorful and vibrant that it couldn't be compared to
this world.
■In that world, there are all kinds of creatures that exist in this world,
and also creatures that you have never seen before. Some butterflies flutter
their richly colored tails.
■Also, in that world, wild animals, plants, and insects that have finished
their lives on earth have gates through which they can enter heaven. In
that world, creatures cross over beautifully like a naturally flowing river.
■In that world, Eric meets God (a being of light). God is the energy that
creates everything and connects everything. In the presence of God, Eric
experiences unconditional love and acceptance. When he steps into the divine
energy, he experiences all life and acquires all knowledge. God is indeed
all (all one consciousness ).
[Relationships in the World]
■In that world, you share everything with other spirits and have no secrets
or privacy. By exchanging energy with other spirits, spirits can share
all their emotions and thoughts.
■In that world, there is no feeling of hatred or jealousy towards other
spirits. There is only familiarity and trust.
■Also, in that world, all creatures are connected with a close feeling
like friends. Spirits can communicate with any living being, be it animal
or plant, by exchanging energy.
・・・・・・・・・・・
■Do you believe Eric's story above?
■As I said at the beginning, we have never experienced "death",
so we can only speculate about life after death.
■But if you're interested in near-death experiences, you've probably noticed
that Eric's world is the same as that of near-death experiencer.
■I am convinced that "That world (heaven)" that Eric describes
is definitely the real world. On this website, I would like to examine
the grounds for this from various perspectives.
■Also, if The other world (heaven) is the world that Eric talks about,
what does it mean to "Live in the present"? We would like to
consider this point as well.
